On behalf of Skills for Health, The Management Standards Consultancy developed the first two phases of the CHD National Workforce Competence Framework covering the areas prioritised in Phase 1 - prevention, heart failure and rehabilitation - and Phase 2 - angina, acute coronary syndromes and revascularisation. A third phase of work has now been completed covering angina and sudden cardiac death.
The framework provides detailed descriptions of
the activities people working in CHD carry out
the standards of performance expected of them, and
the knowledge and skills they require.
