Skills for Health commissioned The Management Standards Consultancy to research the use of National Occupational Standards (NOS) and National Workforce Competences (NWCs) within the health sector in the UK.
The aim of the project, led by Rebecca Freeman, was to develop baseline evidence of the use of SfH NOS and NWC and to make recommendations to SfH based on the outcomes of the project.
The project deliverables were:
- an interim report detailing progress to date against objectives, together with a questionnaire (October 2009)
- final report describing the project methodology, providing an analysis of the data collected and the results of the research, and making recommendations to SfH (December 2009).
