To complement our core business of developing and implementing National Occupational Standards, we also design and deliver learning programmes to help participants gain the underpinning knowledge and skills and develop their performance to meet the standards.

Open Learning

We have designed and written open learning materials for the Management Charter Initiative, the Management Standards Centre and the Institute of Internal Auditors.

    Continuing Professional Development

    In association with the Management Charter Initiative, the Association of Accounting Technicians, the Institute of Administrative Management, the Royal Institute of British Architects and the Engineering Council we have developed and managed "Developing Professional Management Skills". This programme helps professionals use the Management Standards to focus on their development needs as managers. It is supported by a suite of 18 open learning modules.

    With our sister company, Management and Performance Solutions Ltd, we have now developed the first complete web-based performance management and continuing professional system based on National Occupational Standards. PerformerPlus is currently available for a number of Sector Skills Councils in the UK and also for organisations in Italy. Versions for other sectors and countries are currently under development.




    Human Resources Specialists Workshops

    As part of our commitment to widening the use of National Occupational Standards throughout the whole human resource management and development cycle we offer generic action-based workshops for senior management and human resources specialists on implementing standards in their organisations.
