Shooting a handgun can be fun, but it’s also difficult. If you’ve found yourself being aggravated because of inconsistencies, or have struggled to figure out ways to improve, then this workshop may be something that could help.
This workshop is set up for a series of six sessions on consecutive Thursday nights, starting on the last Thursday in April (Apr. 26) and running through the last Thursday in May (May 30). We will be primarily in the center pistol bay, but will move indoors if weather is a problem.
The sessions will last approximately two hours each. There will be discussion periods along with live fire sessions. Each night we will work on specific skills and you will have the rest of the week to review and practice those skills.
Topics covered will include:
Gear requirements:
Eye protection, hearing protection (electronic recommended), a center fire handgun, a quality holster (no serpa style or fabric holster), quality belt, snacks and drinks are welcomed, and 50 to 100 rounds of ammo each session.
All of the shooting skills will be demonstrated and there will be discussion periods afterwards. The goal for this workshop is to give each participant more information and more confidence when shooting a handgun.
